December has snuck in! Are you feeling ready or feeling busy?

I hear you, everyone is talking about being busy and even more so this time of year, everyone is busy busy busy too busy rushing no time for anything.

  •   No time to stop and smell the roses.
  •   No time to see the wispy clouds,
  •   No time to smile at the couple playing with their new puppy,
  •   No time to put the music on to lighten up your mood.

Even though these simple things help our minds relax.

So, now is a great time for a quick new habit, super quick and super effective way to bring a pause into your life, to ease the busy.

The next time you are washing your hands take three deep breaths …

Three intentional breaths – count them as you go

  1. Breathe in, breathe out
  2. Breathe in, breathe out
  3. Breathe in, breathe out

And then go about your day

That’s it!

I said it was simple.

You might like to do this each time you are washing your hands. Or waiting in line, or waiting on a phone call, or anytime that TIME is happening anyway.

By introducing these 3 intentional deep breaths you will calm your mind and add a pause to slow your day. You may even find yourself releasing the busy busy busy.
